I was very interested in your comments that "he had two brothers who immigrated to Iowa also." Perhaps one was my great grandfather Ketel Henry(Hanry) Ketelsen. His daughter, Sophie(Sophia) Margaret Ketelsen was born in Charlotte, Clinton County, IA on April 23, 1868. She married my grandfather Frederich C. Polzin March 18, 1890. Of her siblings she had a brother Lorenz, sisters Catherina Meyer, Nancy Ullerich, and Elizabeth Borkowski. Her other siblings, two brothers and two sisters died as youngsters. We have recent information from the Trinity Lutheran Church, Lincoln township, Audubon, IA Centennial booklet that Ketel Ketelsen died in 1911, Christine in 1899, Maria in 1901, and Katherine in 1909. Wilhemina was baptized in 1904, Reinard in 1905, Irene in 1906 and George in 1910. There's more, but with this, can any of you help us find our lineage in the Iowa area?
