Bernetta C. Judd, 79, died Wednesday at Clinton Retirement Village.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park [aka Clinton Lawn].

Visitation is 3-9 p.m. Friday at Schmitz Funeral Home, Clinton, with a service of remembrance at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Additional visitation is one hour before the service at the church.

Bernetta Andresen married Woodworth Judd in 1938 in Muscatine. They owned and operated three businesses in Savanna, Ill. He died in 1971.

She also worked several years at Val's Dairy Queen in Clinton.

She was past commander of Clinton Navy Mothers Club and a member of Clinton Business and Professional Women and the church.

Her hobbies included crossword puzzles and board games.

Memorials may be made to VNA Hospice of Clinton.

Survivors include sons, William E., Jerold V. and Thomas L., all of Clinton; and Robert A., Eldridge; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Viola Johnson and Leona Marr, both of Clinton.

Mrs. Judd also was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Booth.
