P. H. Dunn an aged veteran, who had been very ill for several days at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Bower, passed peacefully away Thursday afternoon at about three o'clock. Mr. Dunn was a quiet unassuming man, a good citizen, a veteran of the Civil war, and a Christian gentleman, holding membership in the Christian church here. He was the father of six children, four sons and two daughters, all of whom were here at the time of his death except one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Pettis, who lives in Colorado. A number of grandchildren also attended the funeral services which were held from the Christian church Saturday at 11 o'clock in charge of the pastor, H. G. Barr, who paid fitting tribute to this good man.

Interment was in the Green Bay cemetery by the side of the wife who had gone before. Eight G. A. R. men attended the funeral of this, their comrade.
