Winthrop, Ia., March 18. – Special: Miss Mae Mulford, eldest daughter of John Mulford, died at the home of her father, here, Wednesday night. She had been in failing health for several years.

The funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the family home. The Rev. E. D. Wells of Manchester officiated.

Miss Mulford was born in Ohio, May 20, 1876, and came with her parents to Buchanan County when two years old. Since her mother’s death in 1922, she has remained at home with her father. Surviving are her father, six brothers and two sisters; Clifford, Earl and Glenn Mulford of Winthrop; Frank Mulford of Rowley, Ia.; Cecil, Mulford, of Rockford, Ill; Clyde Mulford of California; Mrs. Jay Thomas, Chicago, and Mrs. Irving Baird, Harvard, Ill.
