CAMBRIDGE PIONEER DIES

Mrs. Oliver Hill one of the early pioneers of Cambridge, died suddenly at her home last Friday morning. She had attended the funeral of a cousin, K. E. Thorson, the day before and was in her usual health but was taken sick during the night and passed away a short time after. Mr. and Mrs. Hill moved unto a farm west of Cambridge in 1873 where they have made their home ever since. Mrs. Hill was quite well known to a number of residents of this community and last fall a number from here attended the Golden Anniversary of Mr. And Mrs. Hill. Funeral services were held last Sunday from the Lutheran church at Cambridge.

Among those from here who attended the funeral were Messrs and Mesdames J. A. Handeland, M. O. Forkin, A. Skroome, E. B. Ericson, O. B. Christian, Chas. Christian, Mrs. Julia Christian, Mrs. P. O. FOrkin, Mrs. Jane Ericson and son Henry, Miss Carrie Skromme, and A. J. Johnson.
