OBITUARY OF MRS. LUND

Mabel Lund, daughter of John and Susan Nelson, was born in Chicago on May 23, 1887. She was married to John K. Lund June 29, 1910, and died Nov. 21, 1927, after a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband and six children, two sisters and three brothers. The family moved to Iowa in 1911 and afterward to Elmore and Blue Earth, Minn., and then to their present home in Story City. She has been a member of the Lutheran church all her life and was a devout christian.

Funeral services sere held in the home and in the Immanuel church Friday afternoon, Rev. Heimarck officiating. The pall bearers were: C. J. Teig, Tom Mathre, Martin Erickson, John Hove, O. Vangness and P. A. Olson.

Those from a distance at the funeral were the two brothers and two sisters of Mrs. Lund (Mrs. A. Otwell, Lewis Nelson and John Nelson of Chicago and Mrs. A. Reynolds of Ohio), S. K. Lund of Chicago, Elvin Anderson and family of Leroy, Minn., Knute Elwick of Radcliffe, and Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Mathre, Martin Granville and Gilbert Granville and family of Stanhope.

Interment was in the Fairview cemetery.
