Hello!

I am researching a Harry Morris who married a Mabel Ruttenbur in April 1923 in Des Moines, Iowa. It was his 3rd marriage and her 2nd. She was 24, and he was 44. She first married a Garlock, third she married a Stune/Stave?? In 1926.

I am looking for help finding a possible divorce record for Harry and Mabel. In the 1925 Iowa state census, she is living with her mother and step father, in Des Moines, listed as "married", yet Harry is not with them. She is married for a third time in 1916 (I have the marriage record), so either Harry died or she divorced again (in 1920 US federal census she is with mother and step father, listed as "divorced" w/2 Garlock children).

She is living with her 3rd husband in 1930 US federal census, yet in 1940 she is divorced and her daughter Helen is living with her, in Des Moines.
