Have you researched the Barton family history of Granby, Massachusetts?

Following is a short obituary of D. A. Barton

Page 4 of The Anamosa Journal, published in Anamosa, Iowa on Thursday, February 4th, 1886

Hale Township

“M. B. and Dwight L. Smith, attended the funeral of D. A. Barton last week. Mr. Barton was an uncle of Mrs. C. H. Smith of this place and was at one time a citizen of this township and owned the John W. Demming farm.
