Funeral services for Henry John Peters, 76, Olin, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Stanwood April 28 with the Rev. Daniel Ognoskie officiating.

Pallbearers were Butch and Donald Peters, Doug Adams, Dean Sass, David Waterman and Tom Hurn. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff and Jay Peters and Larry Butler.

Mr. Peters died at St. Luke's hospital Cedar Rapids, April 26.

The son of Fred and Emma Luebbe Peters, he was born at Saint Libory, Nebr. July 29, 1902. He was married to Irene Leffelbein at Worms, Nebr. Sept. 28, 1924. He was a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Irene, Olin; 3 daughters, Lois Butler and Betty Sass, both of Cedar Rapids and Carol Light, Lisbon; 2 sons, Virgil, Lisbon and Wilbur, Monticello; 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 5 sisters, Mrs. Mamie Scheer, Chapman, Nebr.; Mrs. Meta Schmidt, Grand Island, Nebr.; Mrs. Frieda Bader, Atkins and Mrs. Alma Dammann and Mrs. Edna Kuck, both of Saint Libory, Nebr. and 3 brothers, William and Herman, both Grand Island, Nebr. and Walter, Saint Libory, Nebr.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
