My gg-gf - John HAVER died in Mount Plesant, Henry CO, 28 Apr 1890. His death is in Iowa death records 1880-1992 which can be viewed on familyseach, I also know he is buried in Jerome Cemetery, Appanoose CO. So I am sure about the date and place. What I want to know is HOW HE DIED? An old family story states he was shot on a train and pushed off!! if this did happen it seems there could be something in a newspaper. Thats all I need as I have the rest of the tree going back before the Rev. War
