Clayton County Register, 24 June 1942.

VOLGA: Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 11 a.m. (?) at the Presbyterian church for Mrs. Frank White, 78, nee Minnie Copeland, who died last Thursday at her home in Portland, Ore., following a lingering illness. Her husband, who was in the drug business with his brother, Will White, a number of years ago, preceded her in death in 1899.

For a number of years she lived in Volga City and about 20 years ago sold her property here to Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Goodin and then moved to Portland, where she has since resided.

Burial was in Hill Crest cemetery, Volga City. The Rev. Russell P. Nelson had charge of the brief service at the church and also officiated at the graveside.

Casket bearers were John Probert, Oaklin Probert, Fred Smith, Will Smith, John Duff and Arthur Kunzman.
