Porter - Morley marriage - 1950

Wednesday, June 28, occurred the marriage of Miss Una Morley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Morley of Garber, and George Porter, son of Ray Porter of Edgewood. The Rev. Russell Miller officiated in the St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church at Garber. Mrs. Harley Glawe of St. Olaf, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and the bridesmaids were Mrs, Delbert Moser of Elkader, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Dale Elvers of Waukon, sister of the groom. Men in the bridal party included Harley Glawe of St. Olaf, as best man, and Delbert Moser of Elkport, and Dale Elvers of Waukon, served as ushers.

The couple will make their home on the Ray Porter farm near Edgewood.
