Larson - Martins marriage - 1942

Miss Dolores Mae Martins, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leska Martins, was united in marriage with Harry Gerald Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Larson of Postville, Saturday, in the Luana Lutheran church. The Rev. P. Adix officiated. The brides attendants were: Miss Shirley Sebastian, matron of honor; Opal Larson, Lucille McNally and Joyce Amundson, bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Eldred Nuehring as best man. Ushers were, Delbert Martins, Donald Martins and Oliver Larson. Darlene Martins, sister of the bride, served as ring bearer.

A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents for about 40 friends. Maxine and Eunice Doerring, cousins of the bride were the waitresses at the reception.

The couple went on a wedding trip to Minnesota after which the new home will be made with Mr. Larson's parents southeast of Postville.
