Carl Leland McDonald was born Aug. 24, 1927 to Clifford and Sadie Wilson McDonald. He died July 16, 2015 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Petty Officer McDonald served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Donald McDonald was born Aug. 31, 1925 to Clifford and Sadie Wilson McDonald. He died July 27, 1978 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Knoxville, IA.

Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

William Kenneth Meeker was born Jan. 18, 1925 to Howard Kenneth and Mary E. Bingaman Meeker. He died Dec. 7, 2017 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Sgt. Meeker served with the U.S. Army in World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Albert J. Meinders was born Mar. 28, 1918 to Nickolas Tymen and Maria Van Domselaar Meinders. He died Jan. 2, 1946 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Pella, IA.

Sgt. Meinders served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died while in the service of his country.

Dan Regis Meupolder was born Apr. 4, 1921 to Dan and Svea Marie Wesslund Meupolder. He died Jan. 29, 1944 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Philippines.

Lt. Meupolder served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps Torpedo Bombing Squadron 143 (VMTB 143) and was shot down on an air mission over Rabaul, New Britain flying a TBF Avenger. Remains were not recovered.

Merle Sidney Mizer was born Jan. 16, 1919 to Charles and Dollie Ann Beal Mizer. He died Mar. 1, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Montier Cemetery, Montier, MO.

Petty Officer Mizer served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Pecos (AO-6) and was KIA when that vessel was sunk by a Japanese air attack.
He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Darrel D. Mosher was born Aug. 1, 1921 to Stephen Loyd and Mary E. Derrough Mosher. He died June 14, 1947 and is buried in Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville, IA. Sgt. Mosher served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
