Petty Officer Barrett served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Pillsbury (DD-227) and was MIA/KIA when his ship was lost at sea in the vicinity of Bali Strait following an engagement with the enemy

Willard Kenneth (Kenneth) Benson was born Nov. 9, 1920 to Willard Henry and Golda Mae Ellis Benson. He died Apr. 20, 1945 and is buried in Newton Memorial Park, Newton, IA.

Sgt. Benson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 613th Bomb Squadron, Heavy, 401st Bomb Group, Heavy. He was KIA in Germany and awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.

Robert Abram Berwick was born Apr. 1, 1923 to Elmo R. and Gradys Abram Berwick. He died Apr. 12, 1945 and was buried at sea and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 5, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii. He has a cenotaph in Colfax Cemetery, Colfax, IA.

Ens. Berwick served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and served as a Supply and Disbursing Officer with the Pacific Fleet and died of wounds following action, while in the service of his country. 2nd Lt. Bridges served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 3rd Photographic Squadron, 311th Reconnaissance Wing as a B-29 Navigator and was MIA in the South Pacific. He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.

Robert Maurice Bridie was born Oct. 4, 1915 to David B. and Genevieve McCurnin Bridie. He died Dec. 7, 1941 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court t, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and at the USS Arizona Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Bridie served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Arizona (BB-39) and was MIA/KIA when that ship was attacked on Dec. 7, 1941. He was awarded the Purple Heart, American Defense Service Medal with Fleet Clasp, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/Star, and the WWII Victory Medal.
