KELLERTON - Artie Allen and Bert Smith have bought the moving picture show of Alpha Barett and opened the show last Saturday night to a full house.

Carroll Manning went Wednesday to Grant City to help his brother, Ernest Manning, in his restaurant.

KNOWLTON - The pupils of the Knowlton High School gave a declamatory contest Thursday night. The gold medal was awarded to Glade Baker and the Silver medal to Marie Williams. The judges were Thos. A. Ware, of Blockton, Rev. Rees, of Diagonal, and Elmer E. Norris.

BIRTHS:

  • KELLERTON - Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Marts are the proud parents of a file little son, born to them on December 27.
  • KNOWTON - Born December 23 to Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Johnson, a daughter.
  • SALEM - Mr. and Mrs. Guy Tedrow are the proud parents of a little daughter, born Wednesday night.
