Dr. Dwain CRAIN will open his new medical clinic Monday, July 1, on the east side of the square in Mount Ayr.

Last month the board of MARC '85 met to discuss reopening the theater and are currently investigating three factors:
(1) the condition of the theater building; (2) the cost of a new sound system; and, (3) the way other theaters in the area are run.

Elizabeth Faye MINNICK, daughter of Stanley and Diana MINNICK of Kellerton, was the first baby born on or after Father's Day at Ringgold County Hospital, bringing a beef certificate for the parents from the Ringgold County CowBelles.

A newly formed Sun Valley Women's Golf Association has been accepted by the Iowa Women's Gold Association and is participating in district invitationals. The 22-member association holds women's gold day every Thursday with lunch and a business meeting following nine holes of play. Association officers are Ailene RICHARDS, Ruth DORR, Norma MAXINE and Kay BRECKENRIDGE. Pauline WOOD is in charge of tournament play.
