Mr. and Mrs. Warren YOUNG of Tingley observed their golden wedding anniversary in Saint Edward's Parish Hall in Afton.
Royce DAVIS shot a 32 Monday evenbing at the Mount Ayr Golf and Country Club to tie the all-time low score for the course. Playing with DAVIS at the time of his
achievement were Mr. and Mrs. William CORLL, Dale HERRINGTON and Ken WILSON.
Mrs. Lowell HICKMAN, the former Janet HUDSON, was awarded a diploma and pin Wednesday night of last week at the graduating exercises of the Iowa Methodist Hospital School
of Nursing in Des Moines.
Norma Sue ELSWICK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman ELSWICK of Lamoni received her diploma and pin Wednesday night of last week at the graduating exercises
of the Iowa Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Des Moines. Miss ELSWICK attened the rural schools in Riley township and graduated from the Lamoni high school.

A daughter, Janelle Kay, born Sept. 30, to Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert WEBB Jr., Mount Ayr.
A daughter, Linda Lea, born Sept. 21, to Mr. and Mrs. Tom DUFFIELD, Kellerton.
A son, Kris Creighton, born Sept 21, to Mr. and Mrs. Lyle NICHOLS, Mount Ayr.
A daughter, Martha Jane, born Sept. 23, to Mr. and Mrs. Rodger RENDAHL, Grant City, MO.
