Lisa Wilson, Mount Ayr

Mrs. Lynden TAYLOR, a Mount Ayr farm wife, will be interviewed Tuesday morning, January 31, at 6:15 a.m., on the "Rural Electric Reporter" program over Station KMA 960, Shenandoah. "Good Egg Production" will be the topic for discussion during the interview, which is sponsored by the six rural electric cooperatives of southwestern Iowa. Mrs. TAYLOR is a member of the Rideta Electric Cooperative, Inc., with headquarters at Mount Ayr.

A candle mold and a coal oil toaster have been presented to the Ringgold County Historical Society by David St. CLAIR of Avoca, a nephew of John GRAHAM of this city. The interesting antiques have been placed in the showcases on the second floor of the courthouse where they may be viewed by the public.

Frank Elroy JACKSON, who held the world's horseshoe pitching championship 15 times since 1908, died December 27, 1955 in a Tampa, FL. hospital at the age of 85 years. Mr. JACKSON claimed to be the only man who ever played a complete 50 point game with all ringers. He held a record of 68 ringers without a miss. He was born October 9, 1870, in Kellerton, where he lived most of his life on a farm except for a short period of time when he lived in Lamoni. He owned a farm near Terre Haute, IN and during the past 20 years he had made his home in Tampa, FL.
