At a recent meeting of the directors of the Iowa State Bank, Bert TEALE was advanced to the office of active vice-president, and Taylor GRIMES was elected as cashier and director. Thomas TEALE remains as president and Walter K. SCOTT as assistant cashier with no other change in the working force of the bank. Mr. GRIMES recently sold his interest in the Kellerton State Bank so that he could locate in a county seat town.

REDDING -- Dr. NYE, a physician of thirty years standing, has decided to locate in Redding field next sabbath, and he and his family will leave for Winterset.

BIRTHS:

  • October 13, a baby girl to Mr. and Mrs. Wayne KASTER, Eureka

  • October 17, a new son to Mr. and Mrs. S.B. BUTT, Knowlton
