A second Mount Ayr Community high school senior has been named as a state of Iowa scholar by the Iowa College
Student Aid Commission. Josh RUSK of Clearfield, son of Alan and Dorene RUSK, has been named a state of
Iowa scholar from Taylor County.
More than 100 old headstones in need of repair in Rose Hill cemetery in Mount Ayr were worked on last week by
Bob TERRY of Liscomb, who specializes in headstone repair. The repairs were made on stones for which no known
relative is still available to cover the costs.
