Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa

Cars driven in opposite directions by Johnny Saltzman, 17, of Mount Ayr, and LeRoy Morse, 17, of Lamoni, were involved in a collision Saturday mronign about 2:45 p.m. on Highway 2, two and one half miles of Kellerton.

X.T. Prentis, a member of the Iowa State Tax Commission, collapsed Tuesday morning in the commisson's office in Des Moines and was taken to the Iowa Lutheran Hospital, where he is reported to be in satisfactory condition.

Garad Nicklaus, superintendent of the Diagonal Community schools for the last three years, has contracted to serve as superintendent of the East Union Community schools for the 1967 - 1968 school years.

Donna Wallace, daughter of Chester Wallace, of Benton, was installed as worthy advisor of Mount Ayr Assembly NO. 160, Order of the Rainbow for Girls, during a ceremony held Sunday afternoon in the Masonic Temple.
