Three Ringold county students were among 123 undergraduate students who completed requirements for baccalaureate degrees at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo at the conclusion of the 1994 summer season. New graduates include Stephen LININGER, Diagonal, bachelor of science in finance; Juliane DeMOTT DAUGHTON, bachelor of science in physical education and health education; and, Michelle HYNDEN KLOMMHAUS, bachelor of science in merchandising textiles, apparel and furnishings.

Several new events are planned for the Ayr Days celebration this year. They include:

    - performance by Celtic harpist Judith Brougham from Kansas City, MO on Saturday and Sunday and a visit by Scottish Anderson family genealogist.

    - a performance by Tom Williamson with music from the 40s, 50s and 60s and an Elvis impersonation Saturday afternoon.

    - a performance by a number of music students from Drake University, Des Moines, on Sunday afternoon.

     - a performance by the unicycle club from Chariton in the parade Saturday.

     - several new competitions including a tennis tournament and a volleyball tournament at Judge Lewis Park.

     - a style show sponsored by Athena's House at 11 a.m. inthe courthouse assembly room.
