Mount Ayr Record-News
Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa
Thursday, September 08 & September 11, 1914

Kasey Dredge, Mount Ayr Record-News

After being engaged in business in Mount Ayr for nineteen years, A.D. NEPTUNE closed a deal yesterday whereby S.L. FRAZIER, of Grant City, MO, becomes proprietor of the Neptune garage. The mechanical department will be in charge of S.C. McCLELLEN, of Cainsville, MO.

C.E. PARKER, of Burt, arrived Saturday evening and will take charge of the HOLLAND store. Mr. PARKER is a brother of Mrs. Charles G. HOLLAND, whose husband lost his life in an automobile accident near Cody, WY on August 25, whre he had gone to make arrangements for moving his family to Mount Ayr. Business in the store, which Mr. HOLLAND recently purchased from Harry SPURRIER, will be continued for the present.

L.P. TODD gave his first picture show performance in his new location in the Timby building on the southeast corner of the square Wednesday evening. The Princess Theater is one of the best appointed theaters outside of the larger cities.
