Blake HAUGLAND won the 171-pound title at the Pride of Iowa wrestling tournament
at Corydon Saturday. HAUGLAND was the only Raider wrestler to make it to the finals of the tough 12-team tournament,
where the Raiders placed fifth as a team. Ten other Raiders placed in the action, with the MAC squad picking up third
places from Kyle HAYSE at 119 pounds and Kevin TRULLINGER at 215 pounds and fourth places finished by Andy FORD at
145 pounds and Mark TULLINGER at 189 pounds. The Raiders also had two fifth place finishes from Zach SCHAFER at 152
pounds and Richie PALMER at 275 pounds; three sixth places from Wes ZOLLMAN at 130 pounds, Tomie OVERHOLSER at 135
pounds and Brian FOOKEN at 160 pounds, and one seventh place from Danny RAY at 140 pounds in the tournament.
