by Chanse Hall, Mount Ayr Record-News

D. N. Kelsey and Lew Johnston, who have conducted the Mount Ayr Marble and Granite Works since the death of R. H. Stone, have dissolved partnership. Mr. Kelsey will continue business at the old stand and Mr. Johnston will open another shop in the Timby building on Depot Street using the lot owned by Dr. S. Bailey as a display yard.

On the Ringgold county tour, which will be made June 13, the women will have an important part in the day's program. The chief aim of the tour is to enable housewives to more accurately appreciate the task of the household, to get a better understanding of utensils and materials on the market, lighten labor and stimulate a thoughful interest in the betterment of all home conditions. The slogan is "Economy, Efficiency, Good Fellowship, Broad Mindedness and Progress."
