Virtually
nothing had been known about my grandfather, Herman Regenberg, Jr's
family. He died when my mother (Ellen Mae Regenberg) was 13 years old;
his father, Hermann, Sr. died of pneumonia when he was only 4; his
mother died when he was 11.
Many pieces of this Regenberg puzzle
have been pieced together. Hours of research, common sense, conjecture,
assumption, and mere guesswork have gone into the making of this
Regenberg Family Tree. You will notice many discrepancies in ages,
dates, spellings of names, etc. Many times no attention to detail was
given; information was given from memory and often times second
handedly.
As you carefully read this family history please keep
in mind that I started out with only two pages of information and a
handful of pictures.
As time passes by, and as I dig more deeply
into this family tree, I hope to find more pictures, information, etc.
I am of the firm belief that the information is there and that the
puzzle can be "pieced together".
Hopefully the answers to all of the mysteries will be found; descendants located. |
