Teachers in Conference; Are Assigned

Teachers were assigned to their various places of duty in the Clinton public schools this morning following a conference of all the teachers with Superintendent Frank W. Hicks, who addressed them on the subject " Results of Teaching."  The meeting was held at the Roosevelt building.

Some of theteachers who have been away are not able to reach home for the opening of schools and several substitute teachers have been assigned to duty. 

"The prospects are unusually good for a good year of school," Mr. Hicks declared this morning.

MORNING SESSIONS

Morning sessions only will be held in the elementary schools tomorrow and Thursday.  In the afternons the teachers will hold conferences.

Tomorrow and Thursday morning, after the children report for study in all buildings and classes are organized, they will be dismissed.  In the afternoon the principals will hold conferences for the teachers, each in her own building.

Kindergarten and first grade teachers are called to the Roosevelt building tomorrow where Supt. F. W. Hicks will have conference with them in the afternoon.
