It is 60 miles n. e. of Council Bluffs, 82 w. of Des Moines and 440 w. of Chicago, Ill. This is the trade center of a prosperous agricultural district and is supplied with ?? churches, excellent educational facilities, water works, fire department, opera house, ?? banks and 4 newspapers, the ?Telegraph (?? and semi-weekly), the ?Atlantic Daily Democrat (daily), the ?Farmers Messenger (weekly), and the ???
