Kittie Karolyn (Strong) Mann
Kittie Karolyn Mann, age 78 of Pleasanton, Texas passed away in San Antonio, Texas on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born on Thursday, January 7, 1943 in Clarion, Iowa to Eldon Elbert and Kittie Clarabelle (Bradley) Strong.
Kittie was a member of the Church of Christ in Pleasanton for over 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, scrapbooking, and teaching children at Sunday School.
Kittie is survived by her daughters, Cathy Gonzalez and husband Benjamin, Kittie Aldakkour and husband Costi, and Carolyn Fortier; sons, Chris Mann, and Alan Mann and wife Julie, and sister Vicki Freeman. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ellen Mann, Ashley Casanova, Vanessa and Benjamin Gonzalez, Jane and William Aldakkour, Laura Nesby, and Dan Fortier, and great-grandchildren, Jesse and Jessica Casanova. Kittie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayson "Cotton" Weldon Mann, and brothers, James and Jerrold Pohlman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Pleasanton Church of Christ, 1003 N. Main Street in Pleasanton, Texas from 9:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Pleasanton City Cemetery, at the corner of Adams and Bryant, in Pleasanton. Serving as pallbearers are Gaylon Bryan, Robert Hutton, Jon Kelley, Jim Koutny, Mike Maxwell, and Lee Royal.
