John G. Freese
25 November 1876 --- 15 August 1933

John Freese, 56, died Tuesday morning at the Ellsworth hospital, Iowa Falls where he underwent an operation on Wednesday last week for a ruptured appendix. Mr. Freese has farmed near Dows for many years and the last few years he has also managed a truck for the Farmers Oil station here. He leaves his wife and three sons: George, Lewis and Harold, all of Dows. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, the Rev. R.A. Brough in charge.
