David Perry/1895 Obit/Carpenter Cemetery

My husband's great-grandfather was David Perry 1830-1895. I have a small news clip that states he was buried in the Carpenter Cemetery. I am looking for info on this cemetery and who may have the list of those buried there. I have also left a query in the Mitchell Co. site in case it is the Newburg/Rosewood Cemetery there.
I don't know which paper this clip came from, it was in a scrapbook from an Aunt. Was there more than one newspaper in Northwood in 1895 and how/where would I find info from that era?
