LAWTON, Iowa -- Louis P. Christensen, 66, Route 1, Lawton, died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital after long illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lawton Community Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Robert Peters will officiate. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery under the direction of the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside.

Mr. Christensen was born June 6, 1916, in rural Lawton and was a lifelong area farmer. He married Bertha N. Mercer Dec. 31, 1941, in Dakota City.

He was a member of the Lawton Community Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, L. Peter and Donald, both of Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Curt (Judy) Forst of Omaha and Mrs. John (Gayle) Brennen of Bellevue, Neb.; one brother, Ernest of Sioux City and four grandchildren.
