14 May 1981LAWTON, Iowa -- Julius F. Bunning, 76, Lawton, died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital of a long illness.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Lawton Community Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Robert E. Peters will officiate. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery under direction of the McCulloch Funeral Home of Moville.
Mr. Bunning was born Oct. 1, 1904, in Woodbury County and attended Woodbury County schools. He married Grace Porter June 1, 1943, at South Sioux City. They farmed in the Lawton vicinity.
He was a member of the Lawton Community Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Carol Jean) Mongar of Millard, Neb.; a son, Raymond of Lawton; a sister, Mrs. Coy (Eva) Knapp of Moville; two brothers, Oliver and Ralph, both of Ames, and three grandchildren.
