SIOUX CITY - Esther Elenore Holder, 80, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Daniel Funeral Home in Clearwater, Minn. Burial will be in St. Luke's Catholic Church parish cemetery. Arrangements in Sioux City were under the direction of Becker-Hunt Funeral Home.

Esther was born June 8, 1928, in South Bend, Ind., the daughter, Walter F. and Vivian (Hall) Morris. She lived in St. Cloud, Minn., until moving to Sioux City.

She married Morris Oldenburg and after his death, she married Russell Holder in Elk Point, S.D. Russell died in 1989 in Sioux City.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Douglas and Patricia Oldenburg of Homer, Neb., Dave and Sandra Oldenburg of Foley, Minn., and Daryl "Smitty" and Meladie Oldenburg of Clearwater, Minn.; three daughters, Diane Maloney of Osakis, Minn., Donna Mitchell of Big Lake, Minn., and Darlene and her husband, Gary Walter of Stone Lake, Wis.; two brothers, Pete and Harvey; five sisters, Audi, Mary, Rose, Donna and Margie; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
