SIOUX CITY - Christine L. (Solomon) Moore, 46, of Adair, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009, at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, Iowa.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Adair. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Hockenberry Family Care in Adair. Condolences may be sent online to care.com. '

Christine LaVonne Solomon was born May 12, 1963, in Sioux City, the ; daughter of Orville Lee and Maurine Estella (Cox) Solomon. On Sept. 30, 1988, she was united in marriage to Clifton C. Moore in Atlantic, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband of 2l-and-one-half years, Clifton C. Moore of Adair; her mother, Maurine E. Solomon of Sioux City; siblings, Betty Scott of Sioux City, Beverly Smith of North Sioux City, Rufus (Pam) Solomon of Arizona, Donna Schmidt of Rapid City, S.D., Marie (Rick) Schmidt of Gilbert, Ariz., Virginia (Richard) Von Hagel of Atlantic, Iowa, and Kelvin (Kathy) Solomon of Westfield, Iowa; her mother-in-law, Patricia (Wendell) Schmidt of Atlantic; sisters-in-law, Michaelle (Rex) Peterson of Casey, Iowa, and Lynn (Rick) Richter of Casey; a special nephew, Kirk; Bradley; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Orville Solomon; her grandparents; a sister, Bonnie Solomon; her brother-in-law, Allen Schmidt; and her father-in-law, Charles R. Moore.
