Mrs. Fannie Ferris Passes Away Today
Born in Sioux City, But of Late Years a Resident of Bozeman, Montana

Mrs. Fannie Allison Ferris, wife of E. Myron Ferris, died at 9 o’clock this morning at Bozeman, Montana of a chronic trouble. She had not been in good health for some little time. Two weeks ago an operation was performed. Her condition had not been regarded as critical but she failed rapidly yesterday. Her sister, Mrs. O. C. Servis of Sioux City, went to Bozeman at the time of the operation.

Mrs. Ferris was born in Sioux City in 1860, the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John P. Allison. She was married to Mr. Ferris in September 1885. Two children were born to them. Mrs. Elizabeth Purden of Bozeman and Miss Dorothy Ferris. The only other surviving relatives are two sisters, Mrs. Service and Mrs. A. J. More of Sioux City. Mrs. More will leave for Bozeman this evening.

While Mr. and Mrs. Ferris made their home in Boseman, they were frequent visitors in Sioux City and Mrs. Ferris had many friends here who will be grieved to learn of her demise.
