Mrs. Anna Le Comte 1867 - 1939

Mrs. Anna Le Comte, 71, died Thursday in her home after a short illness. She had been residing with two sisters, Mrs. A.G. Fortin and Mrs. Mary Louise Fortin, 501 Twenty Ninth.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church. Rev. Linus LaVelle will officiate. Burial in Calvary Cemetery will be directed by Perasso Brothers Funeral home, where the body will remain until time for service.

Mrs. LeComte was born March 25, 1867, at Henrysville, Canada. She had lived in Los Angeles 25 years before coming to Sioux City six months ago.

Surviving besides her sisters here, are three other sisters, Sister Mary Paul of the Order of St. Joseph in Sabetha, Kansas, Mrs. H. Gousset of Bourbonnais, Illinois and Mrs. E.L. Pierce of Chicago and two brothers, Alcide L’Ecuyer of Kankakee, Illinois and A.R. L’Ecuyer of St. Louis, Missouri.
