Mrs. John A. Wibe 1876 - 1939

Funeral services for Mrs. John A. Wibe, 62, of 301 South Fawcett, will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Nelson-Berger Funeral Home with Rev. O.A. Braskamp officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Wibe died in her home Sunday afternoon following an illness of two months.

Born December 10, 1876, in DeKalb, Illinois. Mrs. Wibe moved as a child to Odebolt, Iowa and came to Sioux City, where she had lived since, when she was 18 years of age. Mrs. Wibe was a member of Silver Leaf grove, W.O.W. and Williams Memorial Church.

Surviving are her widower, four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Randall and Miss Grace Wibe, Sioux City, Mrs. Orpha Jacobs, Yankton, South Dakota and Mrs. Mary Haueter, Renville, Minnesota, three sons, Harold and Victor, Sioux City and Ralph, Austin, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Amanda Larson, DeKalb and three brothers, Oscar Gustus, Sioux City, Victor and William Gustus, Arthur, Iowa.
