Married, at Chicago, Oct. 12th, 1913, Rev. Dennis Mason to Miss Sarah George, Rev. McClure, L. L. D., President of the McCormick Seminary performed the ceremony which was witnessed by Mrs. McClure and Rev. and Mrs. Nicholas. After the wedding all partook of a nice repast which was kindly prepared by Mrs. McClure, who also paid the groom some compliments concerning the bride. From Chicago they went to Hazelton, where they were the recipients of a linen shower at the home of Mr. J. Cappel, where they were entertained several days. They arrived here Monday afternoon, and a number of lady friends were waiting at the parsonage to give them a hearty welcome. During the evening a reception was held at the church, when the bride became acquainted with the congregation. The evening was very pleasantly spent with music and singing. The solo sung by Mrs. Mason was especially appreciated. As a new kitchen had been added to the parsonage a kitchen shower which seemed the most appropriate was given them, after which all departed for their homes, wishing them a long and prosperous life. Mrs. Mason recently arrived from Birmingham, England, and has left many sincere friends behind, but she hopes to form new friendships in this country. She was a successful worker in her own church and she will be a splendid asset in the church here.
