Looking for the parents of Jennie STEPHENS HODSON, Jennie's given name may have been Alma Jane, also have listed Jennie Alma (on her obit).
She was believed to have been born 29 Dec 1854 (or Mar. 1849?) census have said State of IA..
Marriage record lists Phillip HODSON & Alma J. STEPHEN, 24 August 1869, WA. Co. IA.
In 1856 State Census, Oregon twp WA. Co. IA. I found Phiip HODSON living with James STRAIN & family (his sister).
I need to know who Jennie's parents were?
I did see in 1860 WA. Co. IA. Orgegon twp. a:
O B Stephens, wife Mary, children: Orvel A. 14, Javis 12, Ama 7, Oliver L. 10 Lurian 4 & Oscar 1, can anyone tell who this family was?
