From Wapello County marriage records:

Walter M. Benson married Amanda M. Bennett on 19 Mar 1899
Thomas Benjamin Benson married Mamie Durkin on 13 Apr 1907.
Mary Maud Benson married Arthur E. Leonard on 5 Dec 1900.

According to WPA records Thomas B. Benson was born 19 Feb 1890 and died on 13 Jun 1926. He is buried in Calvary Cemetery.

There is also a John Benson (born 19 Aug 1883; died 15 Feb 1939) and a Benjamin (1857 - 1927) buried in Calvary. Don't know if there is a realtionship or not.

The fact that these Bensons are buried in Calvary would indicate that they were Catholic and that there may be information on the family at one of the two Catholic churches that were in Ottumwa at that time St. Mary's or Sacred Heart.
