Bertha Johnson, 93, Hillsboro, died Friday, May 16, 1986 at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
She was born September 2, 1892 at Newport, Missouri the daughter of Dempsey and Margaret Guthrie. She married Elmer Johnson on October 9, 1912; he died in 1970.
She was a member of Hillsboto(err) Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Richard Johnson, Mount Ayr; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, May 18 at the Hillsboro Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Newman officiating. Burial was in Hillsboro Cemetery.
