MORRIS H. FLEMING

Morris H. Fleming, 75, of Farmington, died at 4:35 a.m. Sunday, September 12, 1982 in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

Mr. Fleming was born April 1, 1907, in Stockport. He moved to Farmington from Primrose in 1958. He was a retired farmer and a member of the United Methodist Church of Farmington.

On October 14, 1926, at Keosauqua, he married Freda Boone, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Robert of Eldora, Merton of Las Vegas and Jim of Burlington; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Betty) Hohl of Donnellson; a sister, Mrs. Myra Maddix of Mt. Pleasant; two half-brothers, Valvert Fleming of Fort Madison and Estol Fleming of Marion, Iowa; two step-sisters and a step-brother; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

His parents were Fred A. and Selma Morris Fleming.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, at the United Methodist Church in Farmington with the Rev. Jim Rozendaal officiating. Burial was in Spencer Cemetery near Stockport.

A memorial has been established and contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home.
