VICTOR GORDY

Victor Earl Gordy, 65, of Moberly, Missouri, died at 11:35 a.m., Wednesday, 4, 1976, at Woodland Hospital in Moberly, Missouri. He is a former resident of Memphis, Missouri.

He was born June 26, 1911, in Bloomfield, Iowa, the son of the late Ira and Rosie Gordy. He married Alma Louise Stoneking of Memphis. She survives.

Mr. Gordy is survived by six sons, James, Oklahoma, Jerry Wayne, Cheyenne, Wyoming and Carl Dean, Gerald, Donald and Earl, all of Moberly, Missouri; and one brother, of Chicago.

Funeral services were held at 7:30 p.m., Friday at Moberly. Graveside services were held Saturday August 7, at Barker Church, northwest of Memphis. The Rev. Virgil Brunch officiated.

Local arrangements were by Gerth & Baskett Funeral Home, Memphis.
