CANFIELD, HENDRICKS, HOSKINS, NORMAN, CRAVEN, ERZINGER

Mrs. Caddie Canfield, 82, died April 18, 1979 at the Van Buren County Hospital at 10:05 where she had been taken that evening. She was the daughter of R.C. and Sarah Hendricks Hoskins, born October 16, 1896. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Library Board and PEO, Chapter AD. She graduated from the Milton High School in 1913, graduated from the University of Iowa and taught for years at Milton and in the Davenport Schools. She married Albert R. Norman, who died in 1960 and later married Emmett Canfield, who also preceeded her in death, as did her parents, a brother Paul and a sister. She is survived by two sisters, Hazel Craven of South Euclid, Ohio and Mary Erzinger of Burlington, 5 nieces and a nephew and their children and other cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday evening at Priesters Funeral Chapel in Milton.
