John (Tim) Donaho

John (Tim) Donaho, 90, died at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua Friday, Dec. 5 at 12:05 p.m. He had been a patient there since Dec. 2.

Born Aug. 27, 1879, at Mount Sterling, he was the son of John W. and Florence Harsh Donaho. On Nov. 21, 1900, he married Bertha Thomas. She died in 1965.

Survivors include two sons, Willard of Milton and Everett of St. Paul, Minn.; four daughters, Velma Dye of Denver, Mildred Neahiem of Garrison, Minn., May Neahiem and Mary McVey, both of Fridley, Min..; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lizzie Roby of Milton and Zella Weller of Sullivan, Ill.

Donaho had served as a carpenter in Milton since 1900. He was a member of Milton Christian Church and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and IOOF.

The funeral was held Monday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. at the Milton Church with the Rev. James McKean officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery.
