RUTH A. McGUIRE

Mrs. Ruth A. McGuire, 67, of Farmington died, May 11 in her home at 6 a.m.

She was born Aug. 26, 1898, at Farmington, the daughter of Patrick and Lorena E. Ramsey Casaidy. She was married to Samuel A. McGuire in Chicago, Ill. Mrs. McGuire was a Farmington telephone operator for 34 years, a member of the Methodist church, WSCS, a Bible study club, the Rebekah lodge and the American Legion auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Harriet McGuire of Farmington; two sisters, Mrs. Wilbert Delker of Farmington and Mrs. J.A. Newton of Moline, Ill.

Services were held Saturday, May 14 at 2 p.m., at the Farmington Methodist church. Rev. Leroy Moore and Rev. J. Bryan Jones officiated. Burial was in Washington cemetery.
