Mrs. Mae Tucker

Mrs. Mae Tucker, 91, of Farmington died at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8 at the Convalecent Center, Keokuk. She was born July 16, 1882, at Eddyville, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Taylor Vance.

She married Rollin Tucker at Des Moines. She was a resident of Farmington for most of her lifetime and was a housewife.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Estella Hollin of Milton and Mrs. Ellen Turner of Huntsville, Mo., and three sons, Max of Madison, S. Dak., Norval of Iowa City, and Elwood of Farmington; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons, one daughter, three brothers and one sister.

The funeral service was held two p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home. Robert Hambright officiated. Burial was in the Farmington cemetery.
