George W. Johnston

George W. Johnston, 62, of rural Kingston, died at 7:10 p.m. Friday December 1 at Klein Memorial hospital.

He was born December 11, 1909 in Hilsboro(Hillsboro), the son of Steve and Ethel Graham Johnson. He married Helen Wright on June 29 1952 in Burlington. He was a welding foreman at J.I. Case. He is survived by his wife, one son Richard and one daughter, Mrs. Irvin Gray, both of Memphis, Mo., one step-daughter Mrs. James Greiten, Burlington, and one step-son William Worel, Omaha, Nebr., one brother, Delbert Johnson Tyler Tex. and 14 grandchildren. Funeral was Monday at Prugh's chapel, Burlington, Rev. LeRoy More officiated. Burial was in Sharon cemetery north of Farmington.
